Also, I registered for Sociological Inquiry with Elaine McDuff and I don't even need the class. If anyone wants to get in this section but couldn't, let me know and I will wait to drop it. I hear she's better to have than Barrow or Mitchell.
Grush if you are just taking Physics to satisfy an LSP take Physics 100, it's all basic level info and not very hard. I had Velasco and although his tests are somewhat difficult he curves a whole letter grade for the grade after finals.
Tetlak reigns his class with the power of Agamemnon, but with the grace of Priam, the honor of Hector, the audacity of Achilles, and the seductiveness of Paris. And he is a really good professor. He is the man!
due to some of my classes closing because i could not register in time, i've had to change a few things around. the logic class and history classes i wanted are closed, so i was thinking of taking roman literature in translation with tetlak, whom i here is really good, and if anyone could suggest some good classes in either philosophy, biology or history that would be cool.
Grush-
I have had Nothdurft for 185 and am in 186 right now. He's a super old dude who came out of retirement to ease the burden on the physics staff. Very quirky and tells absurd amounts of lame, old man jokes but he means well. Doesn't teach much, but he is super flexible with grades and wants to give out As if you are close, you get to drop 1 test and don't have to take the final if you are satisfied with your grade going into finals. Be prepared to teach yourself a lot of stuff, but he is always willing to help if you go to his office hours. Bottom line, I've heard a lot about horrendous physics teachers and he is as good as it gets.
Grush, I really don't know who to take but if you need help with physics feel free to call me up next semester. (Also if you can't find a good teacher try Honors Bio 150 though it may only be offered in the spring.)
hey guys, anybody thats taken physics 185 or 195 have any suggestions for a teacher or which one to take? im doing the general honors thing and am not the best with science but the other options all have pre reqs that i dont have and would rather not take
has anyone heard if this class is easy? JINS 335 WE/ Ecology vs. Land Use as taught by Dr. James R. Turner
I am debating between this and Death and Dying with McGahan
if you see this before 5 let me know because I register today

Hey just seeing if anyone is taking ACCT 221 next semester and if any one has any advice on taking either Alan Davis or Charles Boughton. Also, should i take Chen or Gillete for Intermediate Macro? Thanks for the suggestions
Rohne, I agree with Crouse about the JINS class, but I'm pretty sure it's only offered in the Spring. I'm in it now with 10 other Betas and its definitely worth waiting for if thats a possibility.
Chris, I would personally wait because if your not a morning person than it could be tough because to do well in his class you need to go to class pretty much everyday
thanks for the advice guys, i don't register for like a week, but i worked out a schedule with the recommended profs. the only discrepancy i have now is if i wanna wake up early to have logic with stephen pollard at like 8:30am or wait til 4:30pm for it.
Hey guys, i don't register until wednesday and if there is anyone who can hold 2 classes for me that are filling up quickly i'd really appreciate it. They are business specific so you have to be in the school of business to enroll, again if someone can do it for me let me know asap id really appreciate it
Leeds, both Steve and I had Robinson for world civilizations before 500 AD. I took it freshman year so i dont think I have any of my stuff, but I really enjoyed the class and I thought it was pretty easy. I definitely recommend it.
