Beta Theta Pi wise unto life is belonging to a friend

The men of Zeta Xi together with the women of ΑΣΑ's Alpha Beta Chapter and the men of ΤΚΕ and ΦΛΦ helped Team Lorax win this year’s Greek Week! Our competitive Beta spirit led us to an over 150 point victory. This year's theme Oh the Places We'll Go! was based on Dr. Suess characters and stories in commemoration of Dr. Suess. In summary we won Tug of War, Dodge-Ball, Penny Wars, and Lip Sync. On top these accomplishments, Beta’s very own Kyle Busch was crowned Greek Week King with Alpha’s Cindy Finney as Queen.

However, Greek Week wasn’t all fun and games. Truman’s Greek Community also raised money for many philanthropies. The three major ones benefiting a local cause, a national cause, and a member of the Truman Greek Community: the Department of Family Services in Kirksville, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Melissa L. Hernandez Fund, respectively. Looking back at the festivities, Beta was proud to celebrate what it means to be Greek at Truman State University!
