Alumni Weekend is set for April 16-18 in Kirksville. I have a tentative list of events for alumni weekend & was wanting some feedback about what everyone would be interested in, so I can cater the weekend for you guys.
This spring I was wondering how everyone felt about having a more family oriented alumni weekend. This would entail a family get together with snacks & family games/activities as well as a tour of the House around noon on Saturday, & a banquet for Saturday evening.
Friday: Arrive and hang out!
Saturday: List of possible events (can schedule according to interest)
Family oriented event (described above)
Meet & greet at the House: hang out, meet the actives, & tour the Chapter House (snacks provided)
Possible talk with Ryan Sather
Golf Outing in the afternoon
For the evening I have a banquet (dress to be decided) planned starting around 6:00-6:30PM at the Student Union Building (dinner & awards presented)
I can also organize a night outing (possibly in the upstairs room at the Dukum Inn)
Sunday: Breakfast (location TBA)

If you would like to nominate a brother alumnus for either the lifetime achievement award or the dedication to the Zeta-Xi chapter award, please notify the alumni relations chair at alumni@zeta-xi.com. The achievement award could pertain to, but is not limited to, job promotions or further schooling. The involvement award can deal with a brother dedicating his time or money to the active chapter. The active body will be voting on the nominees and the awards will be given out during trivia.
Future Leaders
Recently, the executive committee attended the Keystone Leadership Conference. The eight members included the president, vice-president, ritual chair, recruitment chair, pledge educator, risk manager, treasurer, and although not a member of the executive committee, the alumni relations chair. It provided a great opportunity for those in the present leadership positions to bounce new ideas back and forth and review the chapter as a whole. Each position also had the chance to collaborate with similar positions in different chapters, and brought many great new ideas back to the chapter.
New Member Education Award
Although one of 27 chapters at the Keystone Conference, we were awarded the new member education award for our dedication to learning the history and lore of Beta Theta Pi, both on a national and local level. Along with receiving this prestigious award, we were one of the only chapters to have their representatives stand for almost all, if not all of the achievements, they included: winning grades on campus, being first in intramurals, and raising over $1000 for philanthropy.

It is with deep sorrow that I must inform you that Too Talls Two: The Inferno is closing (I do not believe Debbie Masten is the responsible party). It will be open this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before ceasing to exist as a bar, but only a rental facility.
Does anybody know how to get ahold of Barry Wagoner? I checked the alumni directory and his information looks old...Wicklein? Brad Ross? You guys used to hang out together...any help?
By the way, Kilgore, this thing still isn't saving my new password when I put it in. Also, I tried to create a user profile and it wouldn't take it...that might have been better for the suggestion box but there it is.
